A Senior Engineer, Body Structures is needed at Lucid, a company creating innovative mobility experiences. The engineer will assess and validate manufacturing assembly processes to ensure body structure design requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Assess and validate manufacturing assembly processes
- Solve complex component/system level problems
- Support new product launches and part concession deviations
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure efficient process sequence
- Design and develop weight efficient automotive BIW Structural parts
- Coordinate virtual engineering and physical validation testing activities
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Professional certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt)
- Experience with 3D CAD, GD&T, and DFMEA
- Experience working with stampings, castings, and extrusions
- Strong technical ownership and data-driven decision making
