Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between plant vehicle engineering and design engineering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on joint solutions
• Identify and solve fastener issues on the manufacturing floor
• Assess assembly fastener joint condition
• Track fastener selections and validation activities
• Support and define processes and standards cross-functionally

Requirements

• + years of mechanical engineering experience
• Technical 4-year degree
• Experience with bolted joints and fasteners
• D CAD skills (CATIA V5/V6 or similar)
• Understanding of GD&T standards and DFM principles
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably Automotive)
