Responsibilities
- Serve as plant technical expert for steering and brake components
- Investigate and resolve vehicle build and quality concerns
- Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing and supplier issues
- Implement containment actions and drive permanent corrective actions
- Support daily production meetings and manufacturing escalations
- Develop predictive quality monitoring strategies
Requirements
- Deep understanding of steering systems, brake systems, and vehicle dynamics
- Strong working knowledge of steering gear, brake calipers, and related assembly processes
- Working knowledge of durability, NVH, and functional safety considerations
- Proficiency with structured root cause analysis and corrective action methods
- Working knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, and production readiness reviews
- Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or equivalent problem-solving methodology
