A Safety Officer is needed for a project in Abqaiq to ensure site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site activities for HSE compliance
- Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify hazards
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, and risk assessments
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site safety orientations
- Monitor high-risk activities and ensure proper use of PPE
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 2-6 years of relevant HSE experience, including Saudi Aramco projects
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco safety requirements and Contractor Safety Administrative Requirements (CSAR)
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification preferred
- Experience in construction, industrial maintenance, or oil and gas projects preferred
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills
