A Java Backend Developer is sought by a company for its Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend Java applications
• Work with API Gateways (IBM API / DataPower)
• Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Document specs using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Utilize event-driven tools like Apache Kafka
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in backend Java applications
• Proficiency in Java (Java 11, 17, or 21)
• Experience with Quarkus Framework or Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud)
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and distributed caching solutions (Redis)
• Experience in Fintech, Digital Banking, or Payments with at least 2 years
• Direct exposure to Open Banking standards is preferred
