A QA/QC Engineer is needed for steel structure and pre-engineered building projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming steel material against specifications
• Inspect fabrication, including cutting and weld quality
• Check welder qualifications before welding starts
• Carry out visual weld inspections and coordinate NDT
• Inspect bolted connections and high-strength bolts
• Prepare and follow ITPs and manage hold points

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in steel structure or PEB inspection
• Knowledge of welding processes and weld defects
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1, AISC, ASTM, and SBC requirements
• ASNT Level II, CSWIP or AWS CWI certification is an advantage
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is an advantage
• Good written and spoken English
