An Auto Mechanic will perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel-powered vehicles and their mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect diesel-powered vehicles to identify mechanical faults
• Diagnose problems involving diesel engines and transmissions
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems, including transmissions and drivetrains
• Conduct operational checks and functional tests after completing repairs
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and document completed repairs

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certificate in Automotive Mechanics or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair
• Experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles is preferred
• Practical knowledge of engine overhaul and vehicle maintenance procedures
• Relevant certifications are desirable
• Strong practical knowledge of diesel engines and automotive mechanical systems
